Pros

- You see your impact. We take responsibility for our work and often get to see it directly implemented. - The people are great. They're smart, motivated individuals who I actively enjoy spending the work days with. - Leadership (Brad in particular) give us a lot of freedom in our jobs, and value our opinions. I've learned a lot from the opportunity to take the lead on particular projects.

Cons

- It's a start-up, so the work needs change quickly and often. - The pay isn't as competitive as more established companies that provide higher stability and structure (though, I do think that the flexibility and unpredictability in a start-up setting are invaluable benefits in their own right).

Pros

The company is continuously changing and evolving, as I've seen their strategies change and adapt all throughout my time with the company. There is no limit to how many projects I have been able to take on and the CEO is very flexible and encourages employees to pursue their interests- so long as it can add value to the company, even if it means gaining knowledge through learning from mistakes. The company culture is pretty enjoyable as everyone is young and friendly, and coworkers often get lunch together and hang out outside of the office.

Cons

Because of its nature as a start-up, you really need to be creative in order to maximize your abilities. There are no fancy databases or platforms that are available to you like there may be at other larger firms, so it is up to you to make the most of what is free and available to you in order to maximize your productivity. There are two sides to that coin though, as it does encourage everyone to be more creative and brainstorm together ways they can do things more efficiently with the tools that are available. Every day is different, meaning you may have to drop the project you've been working on in order to address the needs of the day. This certainly can be frustrating at times, but it is never boring.
