9yYou're right, the advertising business sucks.
The rollercoaster of advertising clients and their constantly changing whims and budgets is the nature of our business. We didn't go into accounting, manufacturing, funerals or actuarial businesses, and perhaps we should have- far more stable environments.
We're in a business that challenges us to work long hours, to constantly create and innovate solutions for our clients- there's not a lot of rest, not a lot of relaxation or time to pause and reflect. This business is not for everyone- those easily frustrated by a dynamic environment are often disappointed, and despite our efforts to create a healthy workplace, we are not a match for everyone, and not everyone is a match for us.
We don't like to read reviews like this- it means we not only didn't we hire properly, we didn't realize it until we had a frustrated and unhappy ex-employee.
