Pros

• You have a lot of independence (don’t have a boss hovering over you all the time, and management doesn’t bother you much unless you are consistently doing a bad job) • Pay is decent (start at $17/hour) • Get to listen to as much music, podcasts, audiobooks, and whatever else you want while you make deliveries • Get to work outside and get exercise, which usually feels great, but can be really harsh in the more intense seasons • 4 day work week • good health, dental, time off, and 401k benefits • They are usually really flexible with time off requests

Cons

• 10 hours a day of non stop in and out of van • Employees almost never take breaks so that we can stay ahead of our delivery timer, so for most of us, it’s 10 hours without any break • If you get physically hurt on or off the job, it will be really hard to work this job You’re stuck in a van all day

Pros

If you finish early, get perfect customer feedback, have no driving infractions, and didn't have to receive any help on your route, and finish an anticipated 40hrs of work in 30, you get a bonus for the week.

Cons

It's usually very unlikely that you'll get said bonus, the turnover is extremely high, pressure to perform makes the average person want to pull their hair out, and on a GOOD day, you'll get a 5 minute break to grab food from a gas station and get back on the road. I've lost 30 lbs in 2 months time, and I didn't really have lots of extra weight.
