Pros

Choosing your own hours and free lunch on a Friday (it's almost always bad food)

Cons

Predatory sales tactics. You will only call elderly pensioners all day who will say no, but you are not allowed to take no for an answer and must push them to give you their credit card details. Awful managers and team leaders. Near impossible kpi's to meet with commission locked behind these targets. I could write a whole essay on why this is a terrible place to work.

Pros

Friendly co-workers, if you have natural sales skills you will thrive. The people and energy was what made me stay for as long as I did

Cons

- It is often unclear as to the true nature of the business and fundraising efforts. Any attempt to question where the money goes etc. is swiftly put out by management. - Little to no training, prey on student and single parents desperate for work, unethical sales strategies to try and trick people into giving money to the business - Routinely witnessed people conduct sales over the phone that were not in line with legal requirements for data privacy - Management have zero interest in retention, as soon as one person leaves someone else comes in
