Pros

Yea there are catered lunches, and you have a pretty fun work environment.. until the higher ups start talking behind closed doors and people start to gossip and form alliances and suddenly you, or HALF the whole work force is let go, with literally no warning of issue or problem. I'm sure all these positive "reviews" are by the higher ups, as there don't seem to be any posts by the people that no longer work there.

Cons

There's just too much disorganization. When you are getting hired, The CEO makes it seem like this is going to be a great place, and we just want smart people to work here, and everythings going to be great! Until it isnt and people were literally let go at a rate of 1.5 people per month for like 7 months. There is no open communication so everyone is just left in the dark worrying, but then you have one of the people that's been there awhile tell you everything is fine.. "we can let (insert name) go and then we could all get standing desks. I was told by multiple people when they let go of over half of the team, that they had no clue it was coming and that the week before they were talking about expanding, and of course it wasn't based on who put in the effort everyday or who worked their butts off. Even the tech crunch article low balled the amount of people that got canned, it was 18, not 14. PLUS there were like 7-8 people before that, that got let go without so much as a fair warning. STAY AWAY from here, if you know what's good for you, They will work you until your efforts are used up, and then toss you in the garbage when your no longer needed.

Hey there, You have every right to be upset and disappointed with us and with me. I told everyone we hired for our brokerage team how excited I was about what we were building and how successful it could be. I wasn't lying--I really believed in it. But I was wrong. We couldn't make it work and had to shut it down. You did absolutely nothing wrong and yet you lost your job to a horrible situation. I'm really sorry. I wish I would have had the foresight that this wasn't going to work. The last thing in the world I wanted to do was put you in the situation where you had to look for a new job. It was a tough situation all the way around. And you're right to warn future job candidates. I will have to own up to the fact that we once had to go through layoffs. The only 2 things I can say is that I absolutely cared about each and every employee that we had to let go, and I'm going to do everything I possibly can to make sure it never happens again. Best, Jason Freedman

Pros

They want to take care of every employee, but it seems like they love the sales people. Jason, the CEO, hops on weekly meetings to make sure everything is easy, fun, and keeping us happy. When an idea comes up, it's bounced around to be made better and then actually implemented quickly to keep the sales pipeline moving for their team members. There is an excellent team of people here to make life so easy. They give you lists of leads to call, they find correct contact information when it's currently marked wrong, and take care of the whole on-boarding process for you. You just worry about closing deals. They are always working on new sales copy and processes to make things as easy and streamlines as possible.

Cons

Most of the time, working from home is great. Sometimes it can get a little lonely. Everyone is just a hipchat away though - and more than willing to help in any way they can.
