Cons
I joined 360DigitMG in November 2023, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst and most disappointing experiences of my life — the entire setup feels like a well-packaged scam. They offer courses like Data Analytics (DA) and Data Science (DS), where DA is marketed as a 6-month program and DS as an 8 to 9-month program. I enrolled in the DA course, and all they taught were the most basic concepts — content that is widely available for free online. There was absolutely no depth or real-world relevance. Once the so-called training is over, they assign you "projects" with a timeline of one month. But once you submit the project, you are made to give a viva, which shockingly has no actual connection to the project you’ve done. Scheduling the viva itself takes another 15 days, and they give you three attempts to clear it — but it’s clear they intentionally try to ensure students don’t pass on the first attempt. As a result, every project that should take 1 month stretches to almost 2 months. Since DA has 4 projects, this alone wastes another 6 months of your time beyond the promised course timeline. And even if you somehow clear all the projects, they “reward” you with an unpaid internship at their own company, where the work has absolutely nothing to do with Data Analytics or Data Science. Instead, they ask you to conduct Q&A sessions for new students (just like the previous batch did for you) or assign you to meaningless annotation tasks — like drawing edges around bottle images using Roboflow. This is far from what anyone signs up for when pursuing a career in data. During the internship, you are expected to work from 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday, without any stipend. If you inquire about actual placement opportunities with other companies, they give you yet another excuse. The CEO, Bharani, personally told me that before they will refer you anywhere, you must first work with them for one year as a full-time unpaid employee (excluding your internship) — claiming that “companies only consider candidates who have a year of experience with them.” And if at any point you ask for a refund, they will deny it. If you haven’t completed the projects, their excuse is you didn’t finish the course. If you reached the internship stage, they argue they’ve “already offered you a job” (even though it’s unpaid) so you aren’t eligible for a refund. The so-called “projects” they assign aren’t from real clients either. They simply pull random objectives off the internet and present them as “real-world client projects.” It’s nothing but a sales gimmick designed to mislead. I have personally wasted months here, and so have many of my friends. A quick search on LinkedIn will show you hundreds of former students — more than 600 — who completed their courses and are still struggling to land jobs. If you value your time, money, and career — I strongly urge you to stay away from 360DigitMG. This experience was not only disheartening but also a complete waste of potential.
