Pros
Loved the children, loved my co-workers, and even the physical facilities were ok, but the experience was soured by leadership.
Cons
No opportunity for growth. Promises were often made to induce employees to step up but manager did not keep those promises once employees followed through on the extra requests;
No overtime pay for overtime work;
Taking a break is not a given option, employees must figure out how to eat lunch in the room with the children most days on top of no scheduled breaks and no overtime;
Director openly scoffed in my face at an employee review meeting when I volunteered several various ways I might be able to or learn to be able to take on more responsibilities to help where needed;
Director okay with passing responsibility and consequences onto workers that stems from systemic, policy problems from managements own creation.
