Pros

They make the job sound too good to be true. Great pay for easy work.

Cons

They make you feel like you always have to be at the store. Your told you'll work a 40 hr work week and end up with nearly 30 hours in the first 3 days. They fail to mention any of the requirements for working there and teach you to lie to the customers and trick them into buying more equipment then they need or want.

Pros

Great co-workers and boss Pete are great people to work with. This has been the least stressful job I have ever had and I enjoyed learning about the fitness industry and sales. It is a fun job and every day is different which is nice and keeps it interesting.

Cons

Having to continuously follow up with specific departments within the parent company can be frustrating.

Pros

Selling using a consultative selling process to sell high end equipment, not low end product. Sales training at the time was great. Compensation plan was clear and not open to interpretation. Managers can make a good living if they sell fitness.

Cons

Working odd hours is always going to be a con when working retail. Benefits were not the best when I was working there. Tony Enrico about drove the business into the ground but I hear that has been fixed. Not much upward mobility.
