Pros

1. Good stepping stone if you just finish schooling and finding job 2. Makes you use your brain more (but with con no.2) 3. No political stuffs between you and your colleagues 4. There are opportunities to be selected for certificates and exposure (but con no.6) 5. Benefits more or less same with other companies (dental, medical, etc) except for AWS or VB

Cons

1. As headline stated, do not stay this job for long term. 2. Previous engineer left way before you join, no handover or resources to pass down. Basically throw to ocean without guide or reference pointers. 3. Management always "fight" with each other trying to sabo here and there. 4. You are micromanaged by the management for the weirdest stuff you can think of. 5. Expect to work longer than your working hours if you are executive level without anything back in return. 6. Expect management to pick favorites 7. If management find you for another colleague fault, you are responsible for it if your working that day. 8. If your sick and on medical leave, you are expected to reply or join meeting to assist on the work. 9. No rewards or benefits for long term, only variable bonus but expect it to be only 1 week's pay at best.

Pros

1. Good if you have zero knowledge in cloud (extreme self-reliance required) 2. The company has seasonal holiday celebrations (e.g. CNY, Hari Raya Puasa) 3. You will form lifelong friendships with your colleagues 4. The company's Slack has a ton of clown emojis 5. The company is very happy to see you move on to better opportunities

Cons

1. The below-industry-standard pay is not worth the micromanagement 2. The KPIs are vague and unrealistic when they're not 3. You get a tiny variable bonus (~0.2x month) even if you hit your KPIs 4. The management team will not help you or each other 5. The management team gives off the impression that they don't want business; frequently will ignore you and your clients' communications 6. There is an explicit no work-from-home policy 7. The company has a very high turnover rate 8. The management team does not hire to cover the roles of those who have left
