Learn from Houston's mistakes - Hostess 131 Main Employee Review

The owner was inspired from Houston's restaurant and it is apparent in their rules and policies in dress and hair. As a black woman, I was pulled aside and told to wear my hair straight because my natural hair did not abide by the hair policy. Owner was in nearly everyday and never remembered me although I was there for 2 years. When I left I had a meeting with the owner to discuss the discrimination issues I faced whilst there and nothing ever came of it.
