Pros

Co-workers made working there great.

Cons

Relaxed culture is just a mask for how terribly the company is run. There was no HR representation. Terrible management from the top. Very poor pay. Complete lack of communication from the CEO. Paid inconsistently for the entire duration of employment. Frequent breaches of contract. Constantly told that everything was fine and the company was doing well only for the entire company to be liquidated to avoid paying staff redundancy pay.

Pros

Everyone was lovely to work with and the team experienced some great benefits to begin with

Cons

So many cons. At first, 123 was a great company to work for but things started quickly going down hill and cracks began to show. Scott Jones repeatedly paid his team late with no explanation other than lies and excuses, coincidentally his favourite colleagues (there was a lot of favouritism within the company) were always the ones to get paid first or on time. Staff were also severely underpaid and often promised pay rises and promotions that never happened. Eventually Scott Jones liquidated the company, but it was clear this was only to avoid paying staff redundancy pay, as a mere few months later he relaunched the company again under the same name (123 internet / The Milk N Beans Agency) and re-hired his mates within the company. All while working there, the social team felt mocked and alienated from the rest of the team, at times there was clear proof of this during work hours with people messaging and making fun of the team at work. We also witnessed staff members hired, thrown into difficult tasks with little to no support from the rest of the team and then screamed at in the office and fired when the task wasn't completed. We also later learned that our clients weren't even informed of the liquidation and the company has continued to try and run their socials...without a social team. Avoid at all costs!

Pros

A great team of funny, welcoming people and amazing company culture. They also give people a chance who might not necessarily get it elsewhere. They responded to covid as well as pretty much any company could, maybe better so props there. Pre covid there were some great benefits which I believe they will reintroduce. Generally, a good work-life balance never had much of a problem in that area. Can easily talk to management about any problems you're dealing with. They have a ton of experience and if you're just starting out this a really good foot in the door.

Cons

To make it clear 123 are a great company however with any company they have issues. Antiquated when it comes to working fully remote. Employees should be allowed to work fully-remote should they choose. As long as the work is done, it shouldn't matter where they work. Not a con but you have to have thick skin to work here - which I love but I know that's not to everyone's taste.
