Watch out for the scammers - Anonymous employee 1000ml Employee Review

I really love working here. The other mentors are amazing and I learn from each and every one of them almost daily. Victor Anjos, the CEO and founder is pretty awesome himself; his knowledge in all things AI is absurd and you can tell he's super pationate about everything we do and what all the mentees get from us mentors. All of the projects are REAL. All of our clients are REAL. Having seen people come from Insight and Sharpest Minds, I have to say that 1000ml is the only place that I would want to hire any mentees from; all they care about is top notch data science and business value.

Obviously not their fault, but it has at times seemed a bit chaotic because of having to go 100% virtual (for Covid-19). They pivoted really early and ensured that everyone was going to remain healthy, so I'm really happy that these guys are my bosses.

I can't believe the breadth of work we did at 1000ml. I knew of the founders but wasn't aware of their clientele and the types of projects they had. Doing things in CNNs, FCNs and TCNs, as well as some light GANS and Reinforcement Learning was an awesome unlock for us.

Unlike the majority of tech companies in Toronto, we didn't have free lunches and other freebies, but I just brought my own.
