Pros
I've worked for numerous companies that have well-defined values. This is the first one that actually lives theirs—Big Hearted, Tenacious, Unconventional, and Better Together. They demonstrate this with their impressive benefits, collaborative work environment, and care for their employees.
Every year, the company puts on fun events—family parties, team building activities, volleyball, golf, bowling, pickleball tournaments, etc. They also celebrate the individuals who work for the company by holding events to celebrate Black History Month, Women's History Month, Pride, etc. They're regularly soliciting input to make things better.
The building has a full-service kitchen with talented chefs who make amazing food. There are always drinks and snacks available. I love being able to play volleyball on the court outside with my coworkers during the nice weather.
Everyone is an owner in the company, sharing in the company's success throughout the year. The Flexible PTO has let me enjoy a great work/life balance. My manager has been helping me grow my skills and work on my career path within the company. People stay long and are promoted internally regularly. The leadership is authentic and transparent, and feels more human than past jobs.
Cons
Honestly, there isn't much downside to working here.
