Pros

A "family meal" is offered but you still pay for this even on days you don't work. Many workers opt out, as it is not cost effective.

Cons

Horrible pay, hour shortages, no real HR, no union. Most of the company are so unfortunate that 'WichCraft is there only source of income, in term employees are aggravated and many frustrating personalities are floating around this company.

Pros

I learned so much working for 'wichcraft. I started as a cashier and moved up to assistant manager and then store manager. I was given lots of opportunity and encouragement at a young age. There were so many challenges that build my character as a manager and as a person. I met some amazing people and learned vital skills with regards to restaurant management and professionalism. The network of professionals I amassed was and continues to be a priceless resource.

Cons

The more responsibility I was given, the less accessible my mentors and superiors were. The protocol for disciplining and terminating employees was endlessly frustrating. I had to complete a form to write someone up, be it lateness, poor job performance, suspicion of stealing food or money, no call no show, etc, and it had to be approved by an operations manager before I could address the issue. This sometimes took days, and sometimes I never got a response. By that time the problem was usually worse, but the worst part was that other employees saw their coworkers breaking the rules and not having to face immediate consequences. I also worked far more hours than I signed up for- 50 hours a week was not enough to keep my store running properly, especially with the rotating cast of mediocre and unreliable assistant managers that worked under me.
