Pros
The company cares deeply for its employees. The role is challenging, exciting, and provides ample opportunities to grow. The training program is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. You essentially earn an MBA in Digital Marketing, and within a year, you’ll have more experience than someone with five years in the industry. The training doesn’t stop after your initial 90days, there are multiple rounds of training throughout your first year, and after a year, you can attend industry conferences. The people I work with are incredibly kind, intelligent, interesting, talented, genuinely care about each other, and are highly motivated to deliver excellence in their role. A diverse portfolio of clients provides unlimited opportunities and challenges for you and your team to manage. During COVID, UCL, despite losing some clients, did not lay off a single employee or ask people to take a pay cut. They kept all of us, and together the team rallied to close new business, expand existing client engagements, and end the year by exceeding our original revenue goal. Most other agencies had layoffs, pay cuts or both
Cons
If you don’t like a challenging environment where you are encouraged to learn, grow, fail spectacularly, and achieve more than you thought was possible, this is not the company for you.
