Pros

Fintech is an exciting product space to work in. You’re better off working with other Fintechs though

Cons

- no corporate governance: serious product and corporate decisions are taken arbitrarily - pay is terrible: there are no benefits or perks - there are no career paths available and no structure to help staff progress - if you’re not one of the chairman's faves, you’re constantly sidelined - there were rumours of the top leadership trading favours with female staff - your contract is not worth the paper it is written on: a number of previous staff that left never got their settlements because Brij execs decided they didn’t deserve to be paid - ceo has no leadership qualities: lacks a clear vision/direction, is a bad communicator and has failed to bring team together around a core purpose - product security is treated as an after thought: customer funds are still stuck on platform for more than a year now with no hope of recovery
