Pros
There are so many pros to working at (RED). Some of my favorites include: The people! They are smart, creative, resourceful and FUN. It's a small but scrappy team of highly capable, energetic individuals who are all in it for the mission. (RED) is a very mission-driven organization. Everyone is passionate about the work and the impact. You feel like you're making a difference by coming to work each day. (RED) is the kind of place where if you have a good idea that drives impact, you can take it from ideation to implementation very quickly with limited bureaucracy. It's very energizing and rewarding to work at a place where your ideas can actually become reality. Leadership genuinely cares about their employees. Salary and benefits are extremely competitive. You will work hard, but are also given and encouraged to take time to recharge (Generous PTO and personal days, a week off between Christmas and New Year's, Friday's off in August, etc.)
Cons
There are very few cons to working at (RED). (RED) is a very scrappy and nimble organization. At times it has a very start-up type feel where there's a lot of hustle, creativity and ambiguity. From the start, you will be treated with respect and given a great deal of autonomy to do your job well and drive wins for the organization and people (RED) aims to serve. If you're someone who doesn't like to collaborate with others, who thrives on concrete processes, clear top-down direction, and hard deadlines, you might find it more difficult to perform your best work. If you're someone who doesn't need or enjoy constant supervision, who loves working in teams, are comfortable operating in the gray with limited direction, or enjoys creating new processes where current gaps exist, then you'll likely enjoy (RED) and perform well.
