Pros
They real you in with hopes of this new grand venture with freedom and flexibility, and a progressive culture with great values only to directly go against what they claim to be building. They claim to value transparency and integrity but clearly don’t actually value their employees (unless you're part of the founders)
Cons
Even if you meet all the job posting requirements and get praise from other team members about your work, meet every deadline, go above and beyond, they will fire you out of the blue with no explanation or reasoning (no performance issues whatsoever) and then replace you like nothing happened. No leadership or training, just disposable. Seemed like they may have been discriminatory by replacing me with someone white. Despite me asking for feedback or insight or anything they refused to share anything with me. Clearly there was something shady going on in the background that they didn’t want to give away.
