Pros

Being as it was a smaller company, it was easy to work with people of various management levels, and it was easy to get a hold of the people working at head office.

Cons

Unfortunately, the management seemed inconsistent in how they dealt with problems, as well as vague as to what their expectations of employees were. There was also a marked lack of direction and brand.

Pros

really great co-workers who are nice people, except for a few toxic egomaniacs. owners are nice and approachable, but penny-pinchers. good to get a start on engineering process and manufacturing environment

Cons

Dytran is a toxic work environment run by a few egomaniacs at the upper and middle management levels where insane office politics and finger pointing and stealing credit is the normal MO. Another former worker already hinted at it, but there's a certain "golden boy" who can do no wrong to the owners and is completely toxic with bad design decisions and failed projects because of bad engineering processes. he will take everybody else's work as his own and blame others for the failures, and is backed up by senior management who doesn't understand the technology nor seems to care too much. Lots of brown-nosing and shady politics and put-downs to the workers who has to clean up the mess of their "golden boy." Overall, it's a matter of how much insults and being screamed at on a daily basis you can take before deciding your sanity and mental health is at risk and isn't worth it anymore. There's no room for advancement in your career and the pay is lowball compared to industry standard.

Pros

Great family owned company with pertinent technology and a good work environment as long as you don't run into the Development Engineering Demi-god who was oppressing his co-workers when I was there.

Cons

One egocentric guy with a superiority complex, atrocious lack of manners/humanity, shoot-from-the-hip technology and too much power made the environment toxic.
