Pros

The most of colleagues are genuinely nice and professional, fostering a supportive and friendly work environment.

Cons

I would not recommend working here. The agency constantly brings in an overwhelming number of new clients, yet simultaneously loses many each month. The owner places all the blame on employees—even long-standing ones—firing you abruptly for a single mistake, without any warning. In reality, the problem isn’t the staff at all; it’s the owner who overloads everyone with too many clients and tasks. This leaves little time to properly care for each client and forces employees to spend excessive time on administrative work instead of productive activities. Overall, save your time and effort—this company offers very poor compensation.

Not the best experience

Pros

My team was fantastic and I met a lot of good people.

Cons

One main issue I had working at this company was the lack of solidified processes, at least in my team specifically. While I appreciate the ability to create my own workflow, since there was 0 consistency with processes across the board, working with other teams was extremely stressful because there were always exceptions to the rule. I never felt confident in taking charge of my projects without supervision because there were always “special cases”. Processes were continually “revamped” every 3 months and discarded. Also, when I first started my role, I was given little to no training. The majority of what I learned was through my coworkers because my manager was nowhere to be found 90% of the time or rarely responded to messages when they were urgent. On top of that issue, it was VERY unclear what I was supposed to do in my role according to the hierarchy in my team, which meant in turn, career paths for employees were unclear and goals made in team settings and personal meetings were never followed up on. Even when I asked to work on projects that I had a good skillset in, the majority of the time they were not followed up with no explanation. Management was very poor in their communication. It felt like I had to follow up on items an excessive amount of times because my manager would just forget. My manager would continually ask for feedback on how to improve and just never implement that feedback which just made me never want to say my opinions. In terms of positive reinforcement, there was barely any. I could probably count on my hand the number of times I got compliments about my projects from my manager. In comparison to other teams, it seemed like my manager never wanted to shout out our team for the work we were doing which was disappointing and did not help morale. In terms of pay, I found out teammates' salaries were higher than mine even though we did the same level of work. My salary in comparison to the other agencies in West Palm was very low and was not competitive. When you compare the workload to the salaries offered, it’s difficult to say that it’s fair compensation. Additionally, during my time there, I saw a LOT of turnovers which made my job difficult since I would have to catch people up to speed every single time someone filled a vacant role. I really enjoyed the culture of DR but the massive list of cons related to management, workload, salaries, and growth doesn’t make working here worth it for me personally.

Great for a Quick Start, Terrible for Long-Term Growth

Pros

The only real upside is that you can learn the ropes and kick start your career here but only in the short-term. There’s no commitment to your long-term growth.

Cons

I’ve been extremely disappointed with Digital Resource. Over the past few months they’ve fired a huge number of employees, many of whom had dedicated years of service, due to what they claim was “a mistake.” It’s unacceptable that the CEO continues to treat people like disposable assets instead of human beings. And if you’ve seen any glowing reviews lately, don’t be fooled: they’re written by the remaining staff, pressured to post positive feedback. Beware that this agency values profits over people, I’ve also heard that remote workers are paid extremely poorly, given the same workload as those of us in the office, and that they used to receive only 5 days of vacation when everyone else had 12 days.
