Do NOT work here

Pros

- Starting pay of $15 (isn't even worth it for what you put up with....the starting pay of $15 is being cut more and more -- I've heard most new employees get 9-10/hr now).

Cons

- Most of the people working here have been paid more previously, and are being taken advantage of due to the economy. There are so many great people working here that deserve more pay and a better opportunity. -Expect 10 cents per year as a raise, if you ever get one. I worked here 3 years and received 30 cents over that time span (and was told to not tell anyone else, as I was only one of few that were receiving increased pay). - Micromanagement to the max. I've worked in retail and it pales in comparison to how lower level and upper level management treats their employees. Multiple managers down your throat almost constantly. - They only care about numbers, not their employees or their client. Lower as well as upper management have left this company due to them being more "numbers" oriented than focused on their client. - During your reviews, they would rather you be on the phone less than actually solve the clients problems. If you are in the clients best interest, it is seen as a downfall (because you spend too long on the phone fixing things), and don't expect to be promoted. The ones who get promoted are as short with the client as possible and favorites of the lower management. - No sick leave, 5 days of vacation after an entire year of working full-time with them. Any absence will take away from that one week your second year, meaning by the end of the year you are lucky to have a single day left. - Your work goes unnoticed. No matter how much work ethic you have, don't expect to receive any accolades or acknowledgement. You get paid the same whether you do the work or not -- there is NO incentive to be had. - Morale is incredibly low. They try to spice up the place by holding different themed work days, but what they fail to realize is that people care about supporting their families and earning a living -- not what is going to be eaten at the potluck.

Management is a joke

Pros

Getting to say you worked for a contracting company that worked at a government building. You do get to have free time on lunch and not have someone looking over your shoulder all the time, every other Friday is nice to have off.

Cons

Management has there favorites and they are not afraid to show it, if something doesn't go there way they will throw a fit like a child. Don't even think that you will ever get to take time off without it being a problem or if you think you'll ever had any kind of vacation time accumulated, you will have to work there for 5+ years to get a full weeks vacation paid off. The management would tell you to do one thing on your "free time" and when you would do it, you would be in the wrong. The management would tell everyone at the office your business no matter how personal, example someone was fired at some point i was still employed there and the boss came back and told us why she was fired. there is NO GROWTH at all with this company. They only want to see certain people grow not all, they could care less about you at the end of the day. My second to last day at this job the management was so rude to me, they told me basically i had no purpose in life and they didn't understand how i could live with myself, So moral of my story if you are looking for a company that cares about you as an employee and a person this isn't the company for you, if your looking for a company that have good/affordable benefits this company is really not for you.

Pros

The only Pro to working for Datrose is the work experience that you gain and the relationships that you make with the customers.

Cons

I would honestly not recommend working for this company. You are nothing short of a number to them and believe me they will most certainly let you know that. The Management absolutely does not lead by example and displays Many unethical work practices. What little benefits there are really are not worth much. There is absolutely no room for growth. The culture and values of the company are displayed very negatively by Management. There is little to No work life balance.
