Misleading Interview Process: I went through an extensive interview process, which included 5 interviews and 2 case studies, spanning over a month from May till mid-June. This process implied that I was a suitable candidate for the junior FP&A analyst role.
Delayed Start and False Promises: I eagerly accepted the offer in late June, only to be told that my start date would be in late July. This delay resulted in missed opportunities with other potential employers, as I trusted DNA Script's commitment.
Abrupt Termination: Shockingly, after only one week of working at DNA Script, I was informed that my contract was being terminated because I was deemed "too junior" for the position. This decision is deeply unfair and unprofessional, considering the rigorous interview process I endured and their prior knowledge of my qualifications.
Wasted Time and Energy: Not only did I invest considerable time and energy preparing for the interviews and the role, but I also halted my job search after accepting DNA Script's offer. This decision made me lose other potential opportunities, making my experience even more disheartening.
Lack of Consideration: It's utterly unprofessional to evaluate an employee's capability after just one week of work, especially when the company had full knowledge of my background and skills beforehand.
