Far from Munich, PhD work not so much industrial level, also risky as re-extension is very rare

Nice to read that you find our workplaces exciting and appreciate the collegial atmosphere. This shows us that we’re on the right track to creating an environment where our employees can truly flourish. We know that it can be quite a ride from Munich to Oberpfaffenhofen, but the journey is worth it. We operate a number of large-scale research facilities, and this would not be possible without the conditions we have outside of the city. Of course working in research is different from working in industry and especially our entry jobs are often temporary because of the TvÖD, but you already mentioned yourself some of the other benefits we offer. Depends on the institutions. I have not experienced anything positive.

Cons

Mobbing, mansplaining, and German domination high. As an international you will never be taken serious and will be unable to receive permanent contract
