I have been working at DIRTT full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

New leadership is building the foundation to grow the company. There have been many changes over the last few years, but the culture and sense of purpose has remained unchanged. Great people to work with, interesting clients and projects, supportive executive team, flexible work environment, and a focus on doing the right thing

    Cons

Still in a period of transition and laying the ground work for future success. New CEO has a good head on his shoulders and is doing the right things, but leadership needs a more 'dynamic' figure to get the market and sales team excited again Interim CEO killed a lot of momentum that is now coming to the fore

I have been working at DIRTT full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are plenty of pros for working at DIRTT: solid benefits, great lunch program (not to mention lots of snacks and drinks), dog fridays, lounge nights, the culture. Vacation/working from home/ sick days are very flexible (especially as an office worker). Opportunity to expand and explore beyond just your assigned work. Management is very open to suggestions, and it's clear they care about improvement.

    Cons

There are still some organizational inefficiencies; for example, the new HQ that will re-combine the two Calgary offices is still two years away (long overdue!). Also, the organizational structure can be confusing. Departments are often siloed. Career advancement isn't clear, and somewhat uncertain because upper management positions are in flux.

  10. "Great Ideas, Poor Follow Through"

    Former Employee - Interior Designer

I worked at DIRTT full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Competitive salary, great company culture.

    Cons

My team had a poor manager, and when I spoke up about my concerns about the project I was ignored. Working in the industrial district is not ideal and there is insufficient parking. You are expected to eat at the cafeteria but they don't account for all dietary needs.
