Pros

Lovely team. I’m still in touch with most of my former colleagues.

Cons

The salary was so far below industry standards that I got an £18,000 pay rise moving to an identical role in another organisation. Instead of promoting based on merit or experience, you were made to dance like a monkey for the “privilege” of a better role. Bizarre CEO personality cult. No idea what that was all about, because it certainly wasn’t deserved. While I was there, she spent most of her time shouting at clients, complaining about the IRS and country-hopping around South America. I eventually resigned and nobody in senior management spoke to me during my notice period.

Pros

There were no pros about CopyHouse.

Cons

I'm not sure how useful this review will be given what's happening with the company, but nevertheless many of us employees feel the need to voice our opinions as a stark warning to others. CopyHouse has been the single worst place many of us have ever worked. The CEO has the most blatant disregard for her team, in every sense imaginable. To not pay your team in a cost of living crisis due to an apparent lack of funds, and then boast about your "success" every day on LinkedIn shows a serious lack of consideration, ethics, and judgment. What's shown on social media is a massive facade (as echoed by other reviewers in the past). To post about work-life balance, putting wellbeing before work and company culture on LinkedIn would almost be laughable if this agency hadn't ruined countless lives since it's incorporation. This company has the worst culture you could imagine, enforced by a CEO who clearly doesn't understand either leadership and UK employment laws. She promotes a culture of bullying, isolation, blaming, shaming, and fear. She is very quick to point the finger at anyone else, despite 90% of the time being the reason for whatever problem is happening. Clients had even left in the past due to her horrible attitude and lack of care. I cannot stress enough how everything you see on LinkedIn is simply a lie - the companies success, her own success, all of the statistics and figures, all of it. The team, however, are both lovely and highly capable. A group of people who are far better off without CopyHouse (or the CEO's) name attached to them. She's simply a bully who is unable to take criticism in any way, and no doubt will brush this review (and undoubtedly the reviews that will follow!) off as "jealousy", as if any of us have aspirations to become a cruel, bullying executive in our careers! Word of warning to anyone considering doing business with the proprietor of CopyHouse in the future: protect yourself and go elsewhere.
