Good summer job with catering staff

Pros

It was nice to work in a variety of areas with the catering team: at the cafe, at the grill, and at special events. Part time schedules were flexible and we got to go home early if there weren't too many park visitors.

Cons

Sometimes you'd be thrown into a task without getting fully trained. For example working a different type of cash register at special, or working with coupons and promo codes at special events.

Pros

Some amazing coworkers and environment. Grounds are nice. You can learn a lot from the people who have worked there for many years. Flexible schedule depending where you work.

Cons

Low pay unless you’re upper management. They don’t care about anything except making money. No benefits. Managers and supervisors are out of touch with each other and their employees and don’t care. Departments seem to dislike each other. Very cliquey and immature supervisors and management.
