Pros

Microsoft teams and good location if you live in Mesa Gilbert or Chandler. Easy freeway access. Used to be a great place but all of the good people that made it so great the past few years just left or are about to including me.

Cons

Owner Michael Schafer is by far the most unprofessional person I have worked for and with in my entire career. He acts friendly and nice on the surface but give it time. Before you accept job offer to work at this place I highly highly suggest you do your research and message former employees who have worked here on LinkedIn. Ask about their experience here with him. Look online. You're welcome. If you want to be micromanaged and argued with every day this is the place for you.

As the CEO & President I have spoken to our small group of Sr engineers, including one that has been with the company for 14 years, I am challenged believing any Sr Engineer or a current employee wrote the comments above and expect it was a person that recently resigned. Welcome to today's cancel culture. It is unfortunate someone felt a need to try to hurt our company , it is inaccurate and unfounded. I'd suggest if you have an interest in our company that judge for yourself by speaking with our team.

Pros

There are no pros with this company.

Cons

This company is by far the most disorganized company I have ever worked for. I worked as a business development specialist for Compliance Testing(CTL) and I have never had a worse experience than I had with Compliance Testing. First off, CTL is the only company I have worked with that has a problem completing quotes for their customers. It is not because they do not have enough time but because the people that claim to be doing the quotes are actually not doing anything at all. They are playing games on their phones more often than working. CTL is a revolving door when it comes to employees because the owner is one of the most dishonest and down right evil individuals I have met. He seems like a standard business man at first but after a while you will find he is a petty man who is unhappy with himself and he takes it out on everyone around him. I worked here for 2 months and every other staffing position other than engineers where replaced and everyone that was heading out the door gave me a fair warning of what was to come but I did not listen and had to find out for myself that everything they said was true. The owner never paid me any of my bonus pay nor did he pay me any of my commissions that I rightfully earned. Not only is it a horrible place to work but it is also a horrible place to receive service. They focus on new clients because they know their service is so poor that their chance for repeat business is slim to none. I spoke to countless amounts of people who paid for service by CTL and had a nightmare for an experience where they were over charged and received ghost testing. The testing at compliance testing is one of the poorest, not because of the engineers but because of the process. They do not care about the happiness and satisfaction of the client they just care about getting paid and once they are paid the projects they claimed they would get done will not get done any where close to the time frame they tell their customers. Stay away from this place at all costs!!!

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. Historically, we have not requested or solicited online reviews from our past or current employees. By not doing so, we have learned that the most likely reviews to receive, at times, are negative reviews from exiting team members. We have been around since 1963 and have always aimed to get better each and every year. While we do not have any recollection, proof, or knowledge of anything at all close to many of your claims occurring, we certainly value all input and are thankful for the time & efforts of anyone who has been part of our team.

Pros

Air conditioned office environment and wages.

Cons

The owner is an older gentleman that is very obviously struggling with age related cognitive issues, or a personality disorder. Someone needs to offer this poor man assistance. His behavior is erratic and argumentative. Extreme micromanagement. Consider yourself warned! Sadly, the company has potential, and other great employees if this man would step aside it could really thrive. Turnover is extreme.
