We appreciate your feedback! Communication skills are one of the most essential things you can learn in any business, which is why we offer training that focuses on communication, leadership, sales, and management. As with many sales positions, this is commission-based, which we love because we can get out what we put in and there is always the opportunity to earn more. We also understand that it's not for everyone, and that's ok! Driving to designated sales locations is part of the job, and we offer gas card bonuses! We love that our job gets us out of the office and that every day is different. Thanks again for taking the time to leave us a review.

Pros

Outside of work, the employees and manager are great people, very fun to be around, and some great, transferable skills can be learned here.

Cons

This is not a marketing firm. It is 100% sales and commission based, with a supplemental pay to help you out when you don’t meet their quote (however, that money is loaned to you and will be paid back by taking it out of future paychecks). You work very hard and drive a lot, which isn’t a deal breaker in a job, but it is for little compensation. They will tel you that it is your fault for failing and that you are not working hard enough, your emotions are getting in the way, you’re not being systematic enough, etc etc. I averaged 8-10 sales a week, about $1k in sales and it was not even close to worth it with the amount of stress and work you had to put into getting that result. They boast promotions, but it is just more responsibility with the same pay structure. There is a good opportunity for upward mobility, but the stars have to be perfectly aligned and you need to be on your game and at top effort level 100% of the time, which is near impossible for a normal human with a life outside of work. Sales should be merit based, and this place is advertised as such, but that’s not always the case. It is advertised as a place where they lift one another up and win as a team, but that’s not how the manager and his right hand people are. The work environment seems fun and light. But when push comes to shove, this job will work you into the ground and others can become very cutthroat. I don’t believe this is because of the employees, but rather from a select few and management that breed this environment out of necessity and selfishness

Thank you for leaving your feedback for us. We do pride ourselves on skills development, and it's great that you were able to learn some things of value in your time with us. We do try to be very clear about what the job entails throughout the hiring process, and it is a sales position. Many sales positions are commission-based, which is often preferred because there is no limit on how much you can earn. There is always an opportunity to earn more, and it's a great feeling when you hit those goals. We never put blame on anyone for not hitting goals - We do however try to provide tips and coaching to help employees succeed because we want our team members to have every applicable tool and skill at their disposal. As with most jobs, driving to designated sales locations is part of it, and we do offer gas card bonuses. One of the things we promote the most is teamwork. We would never want anyone to feel as though they can't reach their goals within our company, and wish we had the chance to discuss this with you so we could help you get to where to want to be. Regardless, I hope it was a great learning experience and that you have taken away skills that will help you into the future!
