Limited amount of training. No money in contracts meaning that they focus on volume not quality. Not enough time to service equipment and there is an expectation to take shortcuts. Poor quality management system in place as the repair service is sub par. I left because they failed to follow legislation registration in the state which I operated. I must note that I worked in a remote location which could be a caused lack of resources for our site. Lack of support from managers.
If you're lucky, you'll have good people with good training around you.

Nil training, unless on job. Chuck you in the deep end mentality. Culture of hiring cheap uni graduates with no idea. Poor standards of workmanship are the norm. No money in the contracts, leads to skimping everywhere. No investment in equipment or staff.
