Inexperienced Leadership, Micromanagement, and toxic out of touch egos from CEO down lead to high turnover, and an overly stressful work environment. Blame for leadership and process failures are cast on to lower levels with no senior-level ownership causing employees to quit with no warning. Employees are fired on a whim for no reason other than personal feelings. Some employees have threatened legal action and were railroaded out the door. In my time at channel key, my department alone had a 50% turnover rate.
Company Culture is fake, dishonest and non-existent. A company survey with confidential questions was shared publicly showing overall dissatisfaction. A deceitful press release overstating the number of clients was OK'd by management and because Channel Key puts profits before employees and clients expect to be underpaid and overworked.
Systemic bottleneck and constant reshuffling due to poor management and client turnover is branded as “growing pains” but it is painfully obvious it all leads back to the same toxic people. If you're an entry-level employee this is a great place to learn a skill and learn what not to look for in your next employer.
