    Great People, Leadership, and Flexibility

    Pros

    - Flexible work schedule, work from home policy, work life balance respected. - The people at Cardinal Path are the highlight - everyone is friendly, welcoming, and respectful whether it's your first day or your last. - Leadership is engaged, accessible, and communicates their plan to employees on a regular basis.

    Cons

They are a consultancy, so you may find some of the agency aspects (timesheets, billable hours) challenging, but the company manages them well. Vacation days are relatively tight, but work from home policy and flexible hours do some part to help.

    Cons

    - Compensation and benefits are below the market average - Training and career development are minimal - Management is pushing employees to work overtime without pay - Constant stress due to overworking - Employee turnover rate is huge - HR doesn't care about employees (too busy to get new hires)

Toxic environment, heavy workloads, high turnover

    Pros

Very flexible environment which allows the option to work remotely, they invest in good quality equipment and software. A few great people work here but the overall culture is very toxic.

    Cons

The company has a lot of potential but the negatives far outweigh the positives. This was the most toxic environment I have ever worked in. It's a very political environment and there are heavy workloads, no support or appreciation from the executives, low compensation, and no willingness to train or coach. This company is missing the human element and treats their staff as disposable resources.

    Great culture, leadership, and opportunity

    Pros

Cardinal Path has a great culture, fantastic leadership, and offers opportunity in a growing field. Overwhelmingly, my experience so far at Cardinal Path has been positive. Executives make time to meet with every employee, everyone is friendly and ready to help you any time, and CP has many industry leaders to learn from, especially on the Google Analytics side. They have a fantastic remote work program, and are very flexible with hours. Good compensation, benefits, and RESP matching as well.

    Cons

It's a busy environment with lots of varying client work. This is a plus if you're looking to learn & grow, but it would be very hard to coast here.

Fast paced, brilliant, what you do matters

    Pros

I really enjoy working here. The people are great - really nice and really smart at what they do. There is always an expert to reach out to in areas you might not be as sure in. I find I get great feedback on how I'm doing, and I feel that what I do really provides value, which is really important to me. Also, when time permits it is encouraged to develop new product offerings and research new ideas, which is a great way to further provide and show your value, and appreciation for these efforts is given. The work schedule offers some flexibility which is also nice.

    Cons

Wage/benefits a bit lower than I would expect, some comparable positions are paid more or at least get more vacation time. It is a consultancy, so there are times when things get really busy and overtime has to be put in, while other times it feels like there isn't a lot of work falling on your desk, but if you make the most of the down times you'll always be engaged.
