Pros

You'll gain some experience and make some new connections. There are some very talented people still employed here.

Cons

Well, every few years when they have a slow quarter or 2 they will blindside everyone and lay off about 10 people in 1 day so that's no good. Then the following few weeks a lot of truly the talented people will jump ship for better opportunities and job security. They made Karen CEO for some reason and her first act as CEO was to switch everyone in the office's seats around. It made no sense and completely wrecked productivity. You were no longer sitting with your team and people you rely on to get work done. She must have read an article about how that would increase creativity or something but it just alienated the whole company and made everything more difficult.

Pros

They have some very talented people who still work there but I would expect many of them to be jumping ship because they are finding it harder and harder to get notable work produced.

Cons

"Faster, cheaper and good" is their new battle cry. They no longer ask themselves how great can we make the work. Instead they ask how quickly can we get the work done and how quickly can we bill the client. Employees will get in trouble if they go over assigned hours on a given project even though the client will not be billed any more for those extra hours. That is frustrating when you want to spend more time to really "push" the work but you are forced to stop short because it will look better on a spreadsheet. If you strive to do the very best possible work you will find this approach exasperating.

Lovely place to work, toxic environment

Pros

Their office space is gorgeous, lots of light, conference rooms set up for remote meetings, it looks creative. The people are friendly and want to do good work.

Cons

High expectation to be billable for low pay (compared to what the company charges clients). Plenty of lip service to the idea of doing things right, but lots of pressure to cut corners and get things done. Lots of churn based on clients changing their minds and going outside their contracts without being held responsible for the additional work.
