      Pros

      Not a lot of pros really, it is a job.

      Cons

      Pays below market rate. Departments understaffed. High turnover causes new work to learn outside of position scope. Poor benefits compared to working for actual University.

      Pros

      It is always good to work on a college campus. Working with young people who are trying to achieve important career goals is inspiring

      Cons

      The corporate side of CSUF is run as a corporation and will lay off with very little notice. Ten full time professors were laid off in 2018 even though they were union members. One can expect very little job security if they do that with union members.

      Easy hire, Simple instructions, Supervisors always there to help, Accommodating, Accessible way to trade shifts

      Cons

      High expectations when it comes to productivity (doable but sometimes feel overworked some days) even though we're getting paid a minimum $13. Feels like I have to work harder for little gain.
