- Fellow employees were some of the best people I've ever met.
- That is all.
Cons
- Low pay.
- Incredibly tight deadlines.
- Vague and badly written briefings caused way too many amends.
- Out of touch Upper Management.
- Promotions based on favouritism.
- Strict Management.
- bad working culture - talking about employees in front of others
- school like behaviour
- bad pay
- no opportunities
Overall I would not recommend to work here as it is ran like a school and employees are the blunt end of mangers stick when they are in a bad mood. Managers think they are better than the other employees (except Chelsea) and look down on people. There are no opportunities to go up the ladder and it is based on ‘if your face fits’.

Thank you for your service throughout your employment at CPL and thank you for taking your time to feedback to us, we’re always seeking ways to improve.
We are disappointed to hear that you had this experience.
Since CPL was acquired by CGA, the company has seen some favourable changes. We have expanded naturally meaning there is much more room for promotions, as well as an increase in employee benefits such as flexible working and sick pay policies.
Regarding your advice to management, pre-acquisition, we prided ourselves on our 50/50 split of men and women in our senior leadership team. Showcasing our strong female representation was something we were extremely happy about, and you can read about it here: https://aspirehospitality.co.uk/2018/06/19/leadership-equality-at-cpl-training-group/
Made some great friends, breaks whenever you want and pizza friday.
Cons
Don't listen to staff's ideas, treat staff like robots. No structure so this leads to staff doing whatever they want and speaking however they want to other staff members. New procedures implemented daily. Senior management is poor as they have no experience/awareness of how to interact with staff.
