Pros

Decent benefits, strict 40 hr work week

Cons

Managers love discussing politics, religion, and past relationships with other managers. Rarely are the managers actually there on time or for their full shift. They will blame any lower employees for their short comings.

Pros

Decent day time work hours 9AM-6PM.

Cons

1. Extremely poor management and leadership. 2. Working every weekend with no breaks. 3. Extreme favoritism in the office environment based on appearance and sales. 4. Bullying allowed and encouraged without consequences from upper management. 5.Unfair hiring conditions. (people would be hired based on their appearance) 6.Unfair delegation of apartment sales 1 person would receive 10 apartment bonuses every 2 weeks and the rest would get 0-5. 7.Sexual harassment is not taken seriously or dealt with when brought o managements attention and is allowed to continue. 8. Employee suicide rate rising. 9. Maintenance on site using drugs, alcohol, tobacco daily while at work. 10. Micromanagement 11. An extremely stingy company, they would rather get something done as cheap as possible rather than doing it the correct way. 12. Very unhappy residents, angry office calls are a daily occurrence. 13. Blatant lack of trust for employee performance, all leasing agents are forced to sell apartments to fake shoppers set up and paid for by Broadmoor to gain insight and information on their staff. Then that information is used against you and you are given a score based on if you did a good job or not. 14. Maintenance extremely rude to residents and other employees daily and typically have foul strong body odor or cigarette smoke smell to them at all times that is never addressed by management.

Pros

If you are looking to work for a company who is one of the best at what they do, then this is a good company to work for. The company is known for having quality apartment complexes and treating residents fairly. It doesn't have that big corporate feel, which I like. If there is a suggestion that you have that would benefit the company, then management actually listens. They have lots of 'outings' throughout the year too which allows you to meet everyone. Seems like they treat people fairly and you aren't just an 'employee'.

Cons

I wouldn't say there are a lot of downsides, but you have to love what you do. If you aren't sure you want to deal with different 'issues' on a day to day basis, then you may want to find something else to do. At any of the apartment complexes, pretty much anything can come up and you have to be willing to deal with it.
