Pros

Pros were some of the people I worked with, some who have moved on. Not on this list are SK Ho and Don Dunning. The sales team is cool. same with engineering. marketing is awful.

Cons

When I worked at Biscom everyday seemed like 10.Everyone was board and looking for something to do. Interactions with S.K Ho were almost always about $ and why you hadn't' saved the company more $. Don Dunning is a uber-high strung, type-A personality who always seems like he's going to lose his job. Double D, as he was called would be better suited for an Executive Assistant role where he can manage SK's calendar. The sales team does a good job under Neal who is a good guy. Marketing at Biscom is an absolute joke. SK Ho won't spend the right amount of money to build effective programs. Incredibly poor run company that doesn't deserve the time of hard working people who want to make a difference.

Incompetent CISO and upper management in general

Pros

1) Decent pay 2) Nice people 3) Easy job!

Cons

1) Incompetent upper management Except for the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) the other Biscom employees are very nice and are competent for the most part. My issue with the CISO is that he seems to lack key technical knowledge in areas that I feel a competent CISO should have. For example, he appeared to be lost when we discussed basic security topics such as VLAN Hopping attacks and memory-scraping malware. I was surprised. Overall I think Biscom is a decent company that provides a decent service; however, I personally feel that they should empty-out some of their upper management such as their current CISO and bring in more competent folks.
