      Pros

      It is truly local, with some nice, well-meaning people throughout all offices, and I like that they mostly do municipal projects rather than working with developers. I believe the quality of the services is good across service areas.

      Cons

      It takes 6 years to become a full "employee owner". Lots of turnover makes building relationships/networking frustrating. Seniority is huge here. Management is very reactive in general and transparency is low.

      Pros

      The projects are very stable and more or less the same. Gain a thorough experience of municipal systems and asset management. Balance of office and field work.

      Cons

      The company isn't progressive enough in terms of diversity, culture, or just being competitive with other companies. Barely get any holidays off, no maternity leave. Not a lot of room to grow in your career

      Pros

      - Got solid experience working with municipal systems like drainage, sewer, and pavement. - Had a hands-on role building interactive web maps and GIS apps. - The work was steady and predictable, which made it easy to stay on track.

      Cons

      - Not a lot of room to move up or grow your career. - Most projects were pretty repetitive and standard — mostly DOT or municipal stuff, nothing too exciting. - A lot of monotonous fieldwork, often in rough conditions, and it didn’t really help build new skills. - Didn’t get many chances to work on automation, research, or more advanced GIS work. - Solid for beginners, but it kind of stalls out if you're aiming higher.
