Pros

Can work from home some days out of the week. Co-workers are helpful. Speaking with trainers around the country.

Cons

Working with a bipolar overbearing CEO. CEO enjoys emotionally manipulating employees. Demands to work at night and/or on weekends. Little to no guidance for new hires from management.

Pros

Paid internship, can practice facilitating and speaking while at school

Cons

It is a "bad energy" company. Employees do not tend to stay there. High turn over. Very poor pay. No integrity. People who still work there are always on the edge, stressed, demanding, unpleasant

Pros

diverse staff decent pay flexible scheduling for things like doctors appointments etc if you have good ideas, people want to hear them very involved CEO

Cons

by "work life balance" what they mean is that work IS your life. yes, you can go to yoga in the middle of the day, or pick up your kids from school without issue, but as a full time employee, you will still be on call night and day. you don't clock in and clock out—at BLI there's no concept of clocking out. the organization works with hundreds of clients, and everything is geared towards satisfying them, regardless of the cost. if you're someone who wants to properly clock out at 5pm after 8 hours of hard work, management will make it clear that they find this problematic. even if they do not address the issue with you personally, they will likely talk about it behind your back with colleagues. you will not thrive here unless you are willing to dedicate your life entirely. not to mention the utter lack of organizational structure—this place is chaos.
