      Good people, hard to move upward

      Pros

      Intelligent people, interesting work, collaborative environment, lots of team players. Hybrid for some roles. Self starting is necessary.

      Cons

      No actual promotions are promotions. You have the same work load, just with a raise and a title change. Convincing management to support learning in your field is very difficult. Less enterprise, more startup environment. Upper management can be difficult to work with.
