Pros

I learned alot over the years. But under the current rule it's kind of like living in Germany in the early 40's vs what Germany is today, what Aviall once was.

Cons

Nepotism, Cronyism, Kleptocracy and Plutocracy. Sr. Managers having relations with younger CSR's in the office and getting away with it. Managers that fear those that are much more competent and smarter than they are or ever will be.

Pros

Aviall offers a decent salary and good benefits overall. There is also a "safety first" message propagated inside the company that gives a good vibe. The organization demonstrates a desire to be proactive and is actively looking to improve mechanisms in place to help employee retention. There are employee development programs, and intercompany growth opportunities offered. There are also a lot of good people working for Aviall and it helps get through the toughest days! Being part of the Boeing family is great too.

Cons

There currently is a "lean machine" culture in place and the days are very often gone in the blink of an eye. A lot of work to do and lack of resources can be frustrating at times. (But we are being told that things will improve soon...)

Pros

Most long term employees still have a good vision for the company, but are pushed to the side and ignored, they "don't accept change"

Cons

Senior Leadership Team. They will hire anyone, people who have no ethics, no trust, only know how to bully and threaten their way to the top. No vision for the future, only in it for themselves, or making a name for themselves at Boeing.
