      - You'll get to work on a wide variety of challenging but yet fun problems - The people are incredible; super smart, super friendly, super helpful - Apollo fully understands the importance of work life balance - There are a ton of incredible learning and growing opportunities, with great promotion paths - The Apollo community is incredible, filled with amazing engineers and awesome ideas

      Cons

      - The GraphQL ecosystem is moving fast, so there is a lot to learn and stay on top of (but if you constantly like learning new things, this is really a pro) - Apollo is a growing startup which means you can expect to wear multiple hats in your day to day work (which can also be a pro) - Ummm ... that's it? Honestly, Apollo is an amazing place to work with incredibly low employee churn rates, for that exact reason :-)

      Pros

      As a long-time user of Apollo's OSS, working here was a dream come true and the experience has so far exceeded my expectations. Throughout the pandemic, the leadership team has actively encouraged employees to take time off when needed ("unlimited time off" is definitely not a trap here!). If I had to describe the culture in a word it would be "kindness." We all work very hard and are driving toward big goals, but work/life balance is front and center and everyone is very thoughtful in their interactions with coworkers and generous in sharing their time to help onboard new team members.

      Cons

      The company has grown significantly over the last year and there have been inevitable growing pains.
