Pros

3 hours of “relax” paid time a week basically allows for free lunches, but this is depending if your manager will allow it.

Cons

Favoritism and nepotism are the ways of growth at this company. If you are not kissing up to management you will likely be forced out. Do not spend more than 2 years here. They will do nothing to invest in your long term development despite countless pleas from employees for more training and ability for growth. Several managers/directors hold far too much power over all departments and are pivotal in the terrible decision making that goes on. One manager in particular has been repeatedly reported to HR for various issues from favoritism to flat out racism and no changes have resulted. This person actually received a promotion during my time there. I have watched this person punish those who succeed due to fear of them rising above her and is allowed to continue to play these games Management expects work to be your first and main priority in life and often you are scolded, spoken down too or even yelled at for putting personal matters over work. Timelines for projects are unrealistic causing many more issues and need for overtime than should be necessary. Overall the company is a masterclass in how poor management and rash decision making and tear apart a startup peice by peice.

Pros

You get 3 hours of paid "non-work" time a week. But, depending on your department/manager, restrictions and usage of this benefit may make this irrelevant.

Cons

Management is terrible and do not care about their employees. They let their staff suffer and offer no help. Oftentimes, management will gossip about their employees with other staff, making fun of personal information or concerns. Pay is unfair and dictated by favoritism. Not given training or any tools to succeed at your position. Blame is constantly thrown around in the workplace. "Unlimited PTO" is limited and dictated by if your manager feels like you've taken too much. Sick time is frowned upon, forcing staff to come in ill. Empty promises are often made to make staff work harder, towards a non-existent goal. Feedback is not welcomed and often punished. Turn over is high, but the company would rather turn a blind eye than deal with the actual problems.

Pros

Absolutely no reason to join this company

Cons

If you are highly educated and qualified with a doctorate degree and experience don't even bother to waste time and join this company. The so called managers are not educated and been with the company for over 15 + years and has absolutely no idea on the details or scientific background. Just collecting online information and trying to collect information and will treat you pathetically badly. No vacations and no time offs if you are a new employee.

As we mature as a company we will continue to lean into our leadership development as we endeavor to be collaborative and learn from each other for the benefit of our clients, and we are sorry that goal caused you frustration.
