Pros

Paid on time One Christmas they gave me a work vest.

Cons

I was part of a start up help desk in Montreal for an American company. At the time Ajilon didn't have an official hiring contract. Because of this promised raises never happened, vacations never happened. I was told by the company rep that either I signed the contract or I wouldn't be allowed to go back to my job. I needed the work but resented the strong arm tactics and the lies. Not just me the rest of the 20+ people who worked at the division were so infuriated at this point that the telephones would ring and for a period we just let them. It's the only company I've worked for where I saw such wide spread anger in its employees. Unprecedented in my work experience. They replaced supervisors every.....6-8 months. The supervisors had to get up to speed and in time the employees began to warn them about the work environment. I'd never seen that in my experiences before working at Ajilon We had this one person at the American company who was abusive. As with ALL calls this was documented. He would reduce some IT help to tears. Again this was Documented! The entire help desk disliked his treatment of us, provided ticket numbers and notified supervisors and Ajilon of this. Not ONE SINGLE response from the company as was typical. We were promised a staff room with games, microwaves etc. A month later we got 2 old tables and 6 chairs. USED chairs. No lies in this report.

Pros

Good place to learn high tech skills Can be quiet work environment during night shift

Cons

Management will throw you from one shift to another without notice. If you want more hours, you actually have to apply for the job that you already have because they consider it to be a different job. They will gladly give new hires cushy day shift jobs and force experienced, tenured people to work nights.
