Airsorted Puts the Hassle in Hassle-free Hosting
Pros
Beautiful co-working space in the heart of the city.
Cons
I had the unfortunate privilege of working for Airsorted for a very short two months. I was initially excited to join what I thought was an innovative and dynamic startup in a fast growing marketplace. However, I quickly learnt that not all that glitters is gold. The recruiting process was incredibly deceptive and unprofessional. I had initially applied for what had been advertised as a junior marketing role that quickly turned into technical support and customer service. The specifics of the role and the nature of the work had not been disclosed to me during the interview process and much of this information I had to learn on the job. I would have not accepted their offer if I had been made aware of the intricacies and responsibilities of this role. Within three weeks of being at Airsorted, I witnessed two people leave the company. One of my colleagues left within a week of starting their new position, citing that there was a lack of transparency during the interview and on boarding process. There was a complete lack of leadership, accountability and direction from senior management, who had very little to no experience in managing teams within this environment. There is nothing proprietary about Airsorted's platform, in fact its operational model is highly inefficient and unsophisticated. Diving the hosting process across service categories (Housekeeping, Client Services, Guest Experience etc) only helps to increase lag times and miscommunication. I couldn't have left sooner!
