Pros

Working on large format inkjet printers was very unique and interesting experience especially being part of the software team. -Great people -Laid Back Atmosphere -Diverse work experience

Cons

Upper management lost sense of direction. Frequent change of priorities lead to delays in software releases. Blaming software ( software team ) for all issues related to printers. There is obvious disconnect between teems in Mortsel, Belgium and Mississauga Canada going as far as competition, what probably lead to recent large layoffs.

Pros

Nice folks to work with; some cool technology that is fun to see and show; your experience with management will depend on what department you are in - they have some good ones, and some brow beaters.

Cons

Their fate is tied to the printing industry which is in freefall. I would not let my children choose anything close to this industry. If you have to work in the industry you could do a lot worse than Agfa.

Pros

- benefits are above average ( medical and drugs are pretty much covered, dental is near 80 and a few other perks ) - vacation is decent to start ( 17 days ) - education program - interesting work - work environment is friendly - flexibility

Cons

- management fails to learn from their mistakes and fails to listen to their employees - there is no room to grow - there is no time to learn - company treats it's employees as numbers and not people ( they cut staff without notice ) - inter-team dysfunction - constant changing priorities - company consistently says they are transparent but fails to answer questions honestly
