Pros

I worked as a Director at Addison Whitney for 2 years. The people are all extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They are experts in crafting meaningful brands, and have worked with many large, medium and small Pharma and biotech companies. Addison Whitney is a fantastic place to work; unlimited PTO, competitive salary and commissions, summer Fridays, competitive offerings, flexible schedules, etc. You also have a voice, Addison Whitney is a medium sized company but everyone has a voice and everyone is heard.

Cons

The only current downside is the economy and competitive landscape. Other companies have similar offerings to Addison Whitney, which makes for a competitive sales dynamic.

A long and painful journey...

Pros

I like some of the people I work with so much that I consider them personal friends. There was a long stretch where things were truly improving, changes were actually being made and for once there was an agreement that things actually needed to change. We got a new office and left the dark stained pit that was once Addison Whitney behind. Our teams grew, developed and started to work together. This lasted for a short time and then everything changed and that dirty stain which was the old AW just came right back up to the surface. People who were making an impact just couldn't take the constant resistance and undermining, they either left or just stopped trying. There was a chance to be great and we missed it - I feel like we spit on our own fire till it went out.

Cons

Anyone who is "different" will be pushed out and treated terribly by the leader and some of the staff. Different can mean allot of things, maybe your family doesn't have a ton of money, maybe you are too meek, too strong, too tall, too loud or you like to keep pictures of your pet on your desk. It could be anything but most likely it will have nothing to do with how you 'try' to do your job. There are road blocks that will magically appear and your work will be judged well before it is ever seen. Anything you do that is good will be literally torn apart. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen a good worker just get shut out and when it happens you just know it’s the end of them, but the bullying will go on for months before they are asked to leave or they are pushed out. The accountability from the President is non-existent, he poisons his own well and places blame on anyone (and everything) he can. It is sad to watch what could have been a decent place turn on itself again and again.

Pros

Modern Work Space that needs more diversity people from different backgrounds

Cons

Management is light years behind in people skills. They play favorites too much gossip for small place that's way behind other firms in the market place.
