Pros

-free office lunches -free public transport pass -free private health insurance -lots of inbound leads

Cons

-no training -no culture -multiple instances of unethical behaviour in the sales team ignored by management -highly transactional with little variety, job is basically doing 3-5 demo's a day to very small businesses (mostly sole operators) and asking for their credit card at the end of the call -targets are unrealistic

Thanks for sharing this. People, pay, and product are real strengths, so we're glad those worked well for you during your time here! On growth opportunities, we've made significant changes to career frameworks and progression paths over the past year, including clearer role definitions, documented advancement criteria, and more visibility into what's required to move up. We're also really proud of the programs our Performance & Development team owns to set individual contributors and people leaders up for success. ActiveCampaign has been moving fast and making strategic shifts, which can create friction when communication and structure don't keep pace. We've invested in clearer decision-making frameworks, better cross-functional coordination, and more consistent communication cadences to address that. For prospective employees: Ask about career progression frameworks, how decisions get made, and what structure looks like across teams. You should get specific answers about how we operate now! If you have any other feedback, we invite you to share with your HRBP. Thanks again, and best of luck in your career!

Pros

ActiveCampaign is by far the best company I have worked for. The working environment, the competitive salary, and the amazing benefits we get make it an excellent place to work.

Cons

All the positions are hybrid, so it is mandatory to go to the office at least once a week, but they are really flexible on this, though

Thanks for sharing this after more than a year in Heredia. Working environment, competitive salary, benefits, and hybrid flexibility are things we've invested in intentionally, so we're happy those are landing for you! On growth opportunities, we're building out more pathways for learning and development across teams. The goal is making it easy for people to learn from other functions, get exposed to new areas, and see clear paths forward. Office hours and cross-team collaboration should feel open and supportive, and we're working to ensure that culture is consistent everywhere! If you're looking for specific growth opportunities or want to connect with other teams to learn, we recommend you raise this with your manager. We want to make sure those pathways are visible and accessible. For prospective employees in Heredia: Ask about growth opportunities, how teams collaborate and share knowledge, and what career development looks like. You should get specific answers about what we're building. We appreciate you being here and look forward to creating more opportunities for you to grow!
