Pros

Work from home, good product, pay was on time

Cons

ZERO structure, little work life balance, "thrifty" culture, VERY one side when it comes to gender hiring and firing. The first "sales person" actually stayed at the CEOs house for a conference in SF to save money. He was later let go right before they had to pay the headhunter. Everyone publicly drinks the Kool Aid (see the reviews below) but complains in private about how bad working there is. There's a reason after 9 years you're still in start up mode

Pros

Decent benefits They hire some pretty stellar employees 100% remote Lots to learn

Cons

Barely any personal time to use their "unlimited" PTO because they have the bare minimum amount of employees, so you rarely take the time for yourself due to the pressure that it puts on your colleagues. Behind the times with technology, so their employees have to fill in the blanks for what they either take years to (or decide not to) improve. The leadership preaches about core values (ie. empathy) that are then blatantly disregarded when multiple employees reach out for help or in distress. Leadership will act as though they're listening to feedback you're offering and then do nothing with it. They practically double their expectations / quotas year over year without making the improvements that their employees ask for or getting them more help on their teams. They'll promise their existing employees raises and higher positions in the company, but when the time comes for promotion, they often hire from outside of the company and try to assimilate them to the culture instead, stating that their employees don't have enough knowledge / experience instead of developing them. Their pay rates are all over the spectrum, depending upon how hard you fight for yourself when you get hired.

Thank you for your compliments around our benefits and our stellar employees! We also love our remote work environment that has taken over a decade to cultivate while we grow. As is the nature of a high growth company, much has changed in recent months and will ongoing. We’ve structured teams to allow for better coverage, resumed aggressive resource plans post COVID and implemented a mandatory minimum number of PTO days all team members must take every year. This along with team lead training and more structured goal setting has helped build confidence that our team has the resources to grow with us. However, we are and always will work to optimize. We definitely understand that being a part of a high growth but small company requires patience with change. We are fortunate to have so many that feel passionately about what we do each and every day. We wish happiness for anyone who has worked with us, even if that means they choose to work elsewhere or desire trying something new in life. Please know we appreciate your feedback regarding company leadership. They have received it and thank you for providing it.
