Pros

The only good thing about this company is the students you’re teaching, other than that there isn’t much good about it.

Cons

They will not listen to your concerns or even care about how they treat you. They lie and they tell secrets about you behind your back. I had a supervisor along with their colleagues literally make fun of me in my group chat in Chinese not knowing that I could just translate it.. the also cut my pay by 50% out of nowhere and lied and said everyone got cut and then I found out not everyone did, only the ones they deemed not good enough. They also cut communication with other teachers so that we couldn’t talk to each other and potentially find out all the lies they’re telling everyone. They treat teachers who have been there for longer like garbage you’re not important to them anymore, all they care about are the new teachers who will potentially bring in more students for their company. They’re hurting for teachers but then they don’t give classes to any of the people who were there for years. Their teachers are leaving and quitting and now have started to realize how much they messed up. They’re worrying because everyone is leaving because they are treated poorly!

Pros

The hours are good, you don't have long hours and teaching kids are the pros of this job

Cons

This company decided to cut all teachers pay by 40% when the pandemic started, saying it was needed because of that even though it is unaffected because it is an online company. I worked there for 3 years and during my time there the schedule changed, the pay changed and they would chose favorites and pay them more and give them more classes. They also had a group chat that you were a part of with them and would speak badly about you, making fun of you in their language not realizing that google translate is a thing.. very unprofessional. Also, they decided to turn the group chat OFF so no one was allowed to talk to each other anymore because they didn't want everyone knowing who was getting paid what once they changed everyone pay and didn't want anyone to know how scammy they are. I would never work for this company again because it was the worst experience I had at a job and was definitely not worth all the headache.

Pros

THE ONLY PRO IS THE STUDENTS THEMSELVES.

Cons

They add in last minute classes, without properly notifying you. They tell you right before the class begins. The Coordinators are all over the place, I don't know who trained them. God forbid, a personal incident comes about. You need to give 2 weeks, before they wipe away any days from your availability. Too many reports. [Monthly, Weekly, etc.] It's ridiculous, because I have never had this expectation with other companies. Just a brief feedback report after each class. They would give my regular students to other teachers, and not even notify me. You can't communicate in 31abc group chats, or have any of the students on social media. If they find out, they will fire you on the spot. The slides were broken for certain students that I taught every single week. It's frustrating on a professionalism level. Not one coordinator or homeroom teacher would work to resolve the issue. This looks bad on my end! I can go on and on...
