An empire built on paper: The Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC) does just that -- manufactures machinery for the converting, packaging, printing, and laminating of paper. PCMC makes and sells equipment for tissue converting and packaging; wide-web flexo printing, coating and laminating; coaters; roll engraving; and non-woven converting. Its equipment is used by manufacturers of flexible packaging, non-woven disposable products (wet wipes), and sanitary tissues. PCMC has three production hubs in the US, UK, and Italy, as well as offices in Brazil, Germany, Italy, China, and Japan. In business since 1919, PCMC is a division of manufacturing technology supplier Barry-Wehmiller Companies.
